Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our online pharmacy weight loss clinic. By placing an order or registering with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About Us

Pharmacy Weight Loss Penicuik is a GPhC-registered online pharmacy weight loss clinic (GPhC No. 9012511) serving patients in Penicuik and surrounding areas of the United Kingdom. We operate in full compliance with the General Pharmaceutical Council standards and all applicable UK legislation governing the supply of prescription and non-prescription medicines.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must be aged 18 or over and a resident of the United Kingdom. You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration and any consultation process. We reserve the right to decline or withdraw service if eligibility criteria are not met or if information provided is found to be false or misleading.

Our weight loss treatments are not appropriate for everyone. Eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis by our pharmacist prescriber and is subject to satisfactory completion of our online health questionnaire. We may request additional medical information or ask you to consult your GP before treatment can be supplied.

3. Prescriptions and Dispensing

All prescription medicines are dispensed only following a clinical assessment and approval by a qualified pharmacist prescriber. Submitting a health questionnaire does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued. Our clinical team may decline to prescribe where it is not clinically appropriate to do so, without obligation to provide a reason.

Prescriptions issued through our service are valid for the period stated on the prescription. You must not share, transfer, or misuse any prescription or medication supplied by us. Repeat orders are subject to ongoing clinical review and are not automatically approved.

4. Payment

Payment is required at the point of order. We accept major debit and credit cards. All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to amend pricing without prior notice; however, the price confirmed at checkout will apply to your order.

Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details on our systems.

5. Delivery

Once your order has been reviewed and approved by our pharmacist, we aim to dispatch your medication within 1 working day. Delivery times may vary depending on courier availability and circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party delivery services, adverse weather, or events outside our reasonable control.

Medications will be dispatched in discreet, secure packaging to the address provided at checkout. It is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available to receive temperature-sensitive or signature-required items.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel your order before it has been approved and dispatched by contacting us as soon as possible. Once a prescription has been dispensed and dispatched, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds for prescription medicines, in accordance with UK pharmacy regulations and public health legislation.

If your order is declined by our clinical team, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5 to 10 working days. Refunds for non-prescription items may be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you believe a product is faulty or incorrectly supplied, please contact us promptly so we can investigate.

7. Medical Disclaimer

The information provided on our website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. It should not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. We strongly encourage you to inform your GP of any treatments prescribed through our service. In the event of a medical emergency, please contact 999 or attend your nearest accident and emergency department immediately.

8. Privacy and Data

We handle your personal and health data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We aim to respond to all data-related enquiries within 48 hours. Full details are set out in our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
